This knurled axle is the best thing I've added to my gym since horse stall mats. I mean, the horse stall mats are obviously still more important, but this axle is still super nice and it has great knurling. But I just don't want that to take anything away from how much I like our horse stall mats.

The knurled axle is built really well. One of my end caps was slightly damaged during shipping but it is what it is. I was surprised by the amount of knurling on the bar and where the rings are on the bar. It took some time getting used to it but I kinda like it more this way than a normal bar. The rings are 4 inches closer to the center and the knurling extends closer to the center. I rarely bench much wider than shoulder width to cut down on shoulder pain so I think it’s perfect. Great for bench deadlifts rows curls, haven’t tried it on squats but I’m sure you can use it for squats as well. I would probably prefer it to a barbell for everything that isn’t an olympic lift.

I get more use out of this bar than my power bar. The knurling feels great. I did opt for center knurling so I can use it for squatting, and I had the knurling stop at 40” to prevent some wear and tear on my Jcups and spotter arms.
Do yourself  favor and ask for the Jared knurling pattern.

Extremely satisfied with this bar.  It's built solid.  I was looking for an axle bar with knurling and ample loading space,  this bar delivers and I couldn't find anything else like it on the market.  The  bar was well packaged on delivery.  I would highly recommend it.  Will be buying more products from this company in the future.
