Built so well. Grip feels awesome. I use the closer Grip mostly due to shoulder issues. The bar feels so balanced when you're pressing. Highly recommend this bar!

Bar looks and feels great. In person, it is even sturdier than the picture looks. It looks like it will last forever. The only thing to note is that the bar is black (as it says in the description), rather than gray (as it looks in the picture.) I, personally, don’t care what color it is as long as it gets the job done.

I was hesitant to pull the trigger on this because of the price (I buy my weights & barbells used from a reseller or FB Marketplace), but I had increasing elbow pain that's only relieved by using a more neutral grip, and this was cheaper than a set of nice adjustable dumbbells or elbow surgery; and if you already buy normally priced barbells, it's not any more expensive  than most of the high end ones (again, I'm just cheap)

Overall it's a great product. Welds are all solid. The powder coating is done well, and I have no reservations about keeping it outside on my (covered) deck. If you're looking for an angled grip barbell that wont wack you in the face, and you don't need to do close-crip stuff, this is the one.

Shipping was slow compared to buying off the shelf, but it's a made to order product and they state that on the order page, so it's not a knock against them, just something to be aware of as a customer.

5/5, will buy from Black Widow again.

This was my first purchase from Black Widow.  I am one who does plenty of research before making any purchase but when trying to find reviews on this company or product there were not many.   Still, I decided to take a chance and I must say I'm so glad I did!!!  This bar is awesome! The textured powder coat, the welds, the packaging, the steel were all impressive.  This bar rivals other specialty bars from other well know companies. Easy on the shoulders and great for pressing and pulling movements.   This is easily one of my favorite specialty bars. Looking forward to outfit my gym with more products from Black Widow.

I don't usually do reviews(like never), but this "shortened to 72" warrants a shout out!  Has 9" loadable that work with my "thin plates" and fits in my very cramped space.  Able to press more do to comfort levels that a straight bar doesn't provide. Cut-out in center means no clipping of chin or moving head out of the way. Workmanship is superb and arrived across the country in excellent shape do to packaging. By the way, bar makes rowing easier!
