I purchased these bars with a custom modification to fit standard 1" plates. All my questions were answered and I placed the order with the expectoration that I'd receive the bars after Christmas. I got them in November and they are straight, rock-solid, with excellent powder coat and welds. Shipping was very fast and packaging was excellent.

This bar is perfect. It's not too heavy to handle moving around like other ones I've used. The powder coat is so nice and the knurling too. I like the thickness as it feels so much better on your traps than other bars. Excellent all the way around!
I have a shorter basement ceiling where my home gym is and I mainly purchased this to do standing presses, but I have been squatting with it too. I wish I had gotten this sooner. I am really enjoying pressing and squatting with this bar and the build quality is top notch. The larger diameter of the primary part of the bar is very comfortable for squatting and pressing and I am enjoying this far more than I thought I would.
I decided on this bar, verses competition's, because of the lighter weight. I tried racking and unracking a 95lb bar to simulate the other's bar; not fun. For my wife, it would be difficult.
The thicker bar is comfortable on my shoulders. I like this bar a lot!
