Hex Bar Raised Handle

This bar is amazing. The knurl is awesome and it just feels so much better than other trap bars I've used.

The Black Widow Training Group Hex Bar Raised Handle is an amazing trap bar that is perfectly crafted with excellent coating and more than enough space in the center to accommodate my 6'2" 235 lb. frame for deadlifts and farmer's walks without ever getting close to an edge. The raised handles are just high enough without being too high and knurling that gives more purchase than your standard stainless steel bar. The olympic bar ends extend around 12" and should be more than enough to do "5 wheels". The packaging was really nicely done - zero issues with outer box, and bar and collars were plastic-wrapped and bubble-wrapped on top of that. To top it all off, Dean was so nice to work with. Awesome all the way around!

Perfectly textured, handles at the right height, well balanced, impeccable welds. My fourth and best purchase from them. Will never buy from anyone else again.

Love everything about this bar, except for the way it was packaged and shippped. The bottom of the flanges on the weight sleeves had punched through the box, they were not protected at all. The top of the bar was wrapped very nice, but the opposite side was not and it subsequently arrived with the finish scratched/wore off on a small part of the flange. The shipping company was not to blame, it the fault of the poor packaging. It won't affect the use, just more of an annoyance. I would definitely buy it again, but not without calling and leaving them detailed instructions on how to protect my investment.

I’d recommend purchasing this if you plan on training trap/hex bar deadlifts seriously. It’s a heavy-duty bar that’s built to last.
