Like all of Dean's bars, this one is also made to perfection. The thick grip helps work your forearms and allows a more comfortable grip during pulldowns and seated rows.
This is my third item from Black Widow and as always the Lat bar exceeded my expectations. The welds are clean and the powder coat is my favorite for thick bar training which provides just enough grip.
This is my second purchase from Black Widow and yet again, I am not let down. Love the 2" curl and Lat bars I have bought. Will be placing another order soon.
I purchased this bar to add to my arsenal for another lat row variation to continue to grow my back. The coating of the bar allows you to easily grip the bar and row without any slipping and sliding. The bar itself is solid, beautifully made. I recommend it!
The 2" thick bar is awesome for chin-ups and cable pulldowns, rows, and curls. It's solid and textured so while the 2" diameter makes it hard to grip, it's not because my hands are slipping on it at all.
